Evaluation Adviser (Ofcom) –
November 2024 – Present

Providing evaluation support and guidance to Ofcom and commissioned organisations delivering local media literacy approaches to better understand what works in place-based media literacy interventions and to share good practice within the sector.

Organisational Development – Embedding an Evaluation Culture (The British Film Institute) –
July 2019 – September 2021

A two-year freelance contract providing evaluation advice and support to the British Film Institute (BFI) and supporting the development and implementation of their evaluation work. The role involved supporting BFI staff across different departments to evaluate the impact of their programmes and included developing evaluation frameworks and logic models for these programmes, and designing, planning, commissioning, and managing the evaluation of a number of these programmes.

Evaluation of the More than a Number Campaign (Lumos) –
October 2024 – April 2025

The evaluation of ‘The More than a Number’ campaign assessed the success of the processes involved in the implementation of the campaign to date and its impact with respect to interest, uptake of the target groups and the effectiveness of the initiatives trialled and tested to date.

Capacity Building (Teenage Cancer Trust) – March 2019 – August 2019

A six-month assignment providing support to Teenage Cancer Trust in developing evaluation and data instruments for services delivered by the Trust, including designing qualitative and quantitative research/evaluation instruments and providing support for all aspects of their emerging evaluation framework.

Evaluation of the Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking prevention training programme (Hope for Justice)
March 2022 – May 2022

The evaluation of a training programme developed by Hope for Justice for professionals that support victims of Modern Slavery. The evaluation activities included developing a logic model, using OECD/DAC criteria to develop an Evaluation Framework with evaluation questions, conducting desk review of programme documents, observing a training session, review and analysis of pre and post training questionnaires and monitoring data developed by Hope for Justice, and conducting virtual interviews with training participants and non-participants.
